I just attended your ASBA Keynote session. WOW!! What a reasonable and realistic view of where we are today, where we need to go, and (some) tools/thoughts on how we can get there. I did not hear any racists comments or slurs in your presentation. Unlike most of the other sessions. You challenged everyone. You informed everyone. You included everyone, the best you could in the setting/session. I suspect yours was the only session that everyone left feeling challenged and uncomfortable (in a “good” way).

When I first landed in the same school district as Bill, his Foundational Bias Training was one of my first professional development experiences. I knew in that training I had landed in the right school district. I am a better equipped educator and a more caring person because of Bill’s ongoing presence in my professional life.
